Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Best grown in a moist or dry, well-drained soil, in full sun. They are drought tolerant once established. Shear back flowers after flowering to maintain a compact foliage habit and to encourage a second bloom.

Additional Notes about Meadow Sage:

Although not officially listed as invasive, ask this editor's wife how much it spreads by wind-borne seeds. But she likes Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna' and S. n. 'Marcus'.
