Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Grows best in an average to dry, well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade and is drought-tolerant, once established. Shear back after flowering to maintain shape and improve overall appearance. This also may encourage new flowers throughout the summer. Provide good air circulation when choosing a location for this species to reduce the potential of powdery mildew. It is best to not prune in the fall but to clean up winter-damaged foliage in the spring.
