Growing and Maintenance Tips:

This cultivar is best grown in an acidic, sandy, well-drained soil, with medium moisture, in full sun. It will tolerate some light shade, and avoid planting it in wet, poorly drained soils. Protection (burlap wrap) from drying winter winds is recommended in an exposed location to prevent winter burn.
