Weeping European silver fir is a low-maintenance option for an unusual upright conifer. Young plants can be selectively pruned and staked to achieve a uniform, compact shape.
This weeping form of European silver fir was found in 1835 at the Godefroy Nursery in Ville D'Avra, France. A mature specimen is in the botanical garden of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
