Red maples thrive on a wide range of soil types, tolerate more moisture, pH and elevation than any other forest species in North America. 

Additional Notes about Red Maple:


Native to Ontario and other parts of North America. In autumn, the bright red leaves make a striking contrast against dark-coloured evergreens or the white bark and yellow foliage of birches. It can be grown as a specimen tree or multi-stemmed plant.
